Registration Limit: 12    

Hands on training will begin at 8:00 Saturday and Sunday mornings. During the seminar Ronnie will go over the Foundation Level of training in depth and get you going through the steps with your dog. We will work on bird introductions, checkcording to birds, pointing, honoring, recalling, heeling, and general behavior issues. Ronnie will teach you to start reading your dog's behavior and help you to understand what your dog is truly feeling. Seminar sessions will adjourn at 4:00 pm. Other Information: Primitive camping (no water or electric hookups) will be available on site for free. Lunch is provided on both Saturday and Sunday but all other meals are the responsibility of participants.

Introduction to Gundog Training Workshop - $100 per person / handler

This is a two day workshop August 4-5. Saturday, August 4 is a full day, from 7:00AM-4:00PM. Sunday, August 5 goes from 7:00AM-12:00PM. There is primitive camping on site for tents or campers. There are no hookups, water, or electricity. The town of Stayton, which has restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, gas, etc.. is located about 20 minutes from Queener Ridge.

Training topics will include: dogs exposure to birds, correct use of check cord, how to use a whoa post, tracking, scenting, recall, reading your dog, pointing, backing/honoring, dog first aid, introduction to water, dog training equipment overview.

Please bring a water bowl, water, food bowl, food and stake out chain for your dog. All dogs will need to be leashed unless otherwise noted at the workshop.
